No they don't however the food is outstanding. I drive 25 mins to get it.
Yes
Not true at all. The shrimp are huge and seasoned well with light breading.
I have been coming to the kettle for over 30 years and can't remember a time it ever disappointed. From deep fried oysters to ready to go pick and peel shrimp with sauce and individual beers. What a place!
Amazing seafood 👌. That's all that needs to be said.
Love this place. Look for SAM as your server. She is amazing and the owner is amazing. Comfy and welcoming environment
Always delicious. Got the Baltimore crab cake, perfect.
The food was fine. Nothing special. If I'm near by I'd go again.
Used to enjoy the food but the place is now a dump! I question the cleanliness due to the condition of the restaurant. Such a disappointment! My mom went there 50 years ago for fish and now it's slowly going downhill! You would think you would put some profit into the place!
It was the worst meal I ever had. Appetizers we're tasteless and just nasty. Didn't eat our entrees . The service was horrible. The entrees came out colder then my freezer. The place had strange order from the carpet.
Very disappointed my husband and i ordered the family pack chicken as we always do. This time though half of the chicken pieces were still raw and not cooked thoroughly .NEVER AGAIN.
Food is always great and on time great staff
Had lunch. Always enjoy. Will be back again. In and out in about half hour.
I have been eating here for over 20 years. It's awesome . I do only live two miles away but I would drive 20 to eat here. Highly recommend!! ❤
I think it was awesome I love Copper Kettle
It was average at best. The place was air conditioned freezing on a cold and rainy night. Clearly it was because the workers wanted to be extra comfortable but the main air conditioner was right above our table and blew straight down our backs. Needless to say we all ate with our coats on, and fast.
Great Seafood ata Great price...
Best pizza. I rate it #1. I think it's going to be rated #1 in Bucks County, located in Yardley. They also have beer.
Very disappointing this time the food was lukewarm this time. My wife sent her lobster platter back to heat up. It be nice to see a make over there the place has torn up seats mismatched seats and the rug is torn up and dirty. My wife Love's the lobster there and we go a few times a year
The Kopper Kettle is a classic watering hole that looks like time stopped somewhere around the late 1960s... I mean that in a good way, however! This vintage roadhouse offers affordable, well-prepared seafood via friendly waitresses who, if you're lucky, just might call you "hun." I'm a big fan of the fried scallops, and almost always get a cup of snapper soup to start. It's a historic, regional turtle soup served with sherry to cut the richness of the dish. Not a fan of seafood? Try the delicious fried chicken!
Ate there once for lunch, and another time had takeout during dinner. Both times the portions were very large for the price, and the food tasted good. The sauces they provide with the food are also flavored well (tartar, cocktail, and coleslaw). The only reason I am not giving a 5 star is due to the interior of the dinning area. The seating area is quite old and the age is showing. We also noticed a fly buzzing around (although it stayed away from our food thankfully). Besides that, the waitress was very nice and refilled water quickly.
Great food . Until the waitress question me on why i left a small tip on my bill. Keep in mind i was a dollar short from where i should of been. Never in my life have i ever experience that going to that place for over 30 years. I think they lost a customer of many years. People like that are the ones who destroys business.
Had a fantastic experience in this place with my daughter. The food arrives fast and the service is just good. Prices are reasonable.
Just ordered take out , King crab legs, snapper soup, pick and peel . It was fabulous. Can't wait to stop back.
Been going to Kopper Kettle for over 25 yrs, the food is alway awesome. However, the young guys at the takeout counter the last couple of years need to learn some people skills. They act like they are doing you a favor when they wait on you. And its not just one particular person, it has happened at least 4 times this past yr. I hope the owner reads this and maybe give them some training on how to treat their customers.5 stars for food. 2 stars for the gentlemen who work the takeout.
The Kopper Kettle is a classic local tavern (unrenovated) with a friendly staff and great food. Their snapper soup is a must-have for fans of this local delicacy. Make sure to add a splash (or, several) of sherry! Rich and loaded with meat, it is very satisfying. I have never wasted my time getting just a cup of this soup - a bowl is the only size for me! As for the rest of the menu, you really can't go wrong. Their burgers and steak sandwiches are very good as is their seafood. I really like their flounder sandwich and their steak fries are among the best. With ample parking and, sometimes a wait, I recommend a visit to the Kopper Kettle.
Awesome food! Prices are in the normal range for seafood. Quick to get your order done.
Great food great people and service
I live in jersey and this was my first time! Friendly service and delicious food. Definitely recommend!!
If you're looking for some amazing seafood - don't miss the Kopper Kettle. Whether you enjoy the lunch specials served Monday to Saturday until 2PM or take-out, their seafood is always fresh and delicious!
Great local business! Never a disappointment when ordering from the Kopper Kettle. Not only is the food fresh and fantastic, the staff always gives service with a smile and helps to create a truly personal experience. Loved my help from the servers Sam and Colin, and bartender Karen. Cant wait to go back!
Good food, good price short wait time
Awesome seafood.Throwback, friendly atmosphere.Try it and see..
You gotta try the buffalo wings. Something about this places sauce is great and unique.
Quiet, rustic restaurant with good decent seafood dinners. It's been a landmark in Bucks county for years. I love their fried chicken platters.
The best seafood, always great, but you might have to wait a while at the pick up counter. Food is worth the wait.
Such good food the best
The people and service are very good in the restaurant. The food portions are large at a great price. The take out has the same great food. Our family has been going there for years and will continue to do so.
Seafood Combination was amazing shrimp were as big as my hand scallops were delicious perfectly seasoned best i ever had
hd a take out order .was correct and ready for use. Plus it was very good
Smells like old dirty bar rugs. Waitress was nice enough and VERY talkative...Food was ok. I ordered a side of fried oysters which came out soggy and not brown. I sent them back and asked for oysters to be more thoroughly cooked. I got the same exact items back a little browner but still soggy.I had asked a Facebook group for a seafood restaurant recommendation; this place was recommended. I will not be going back.
Best place in town. You get a bang for your buck. I live 2 hours away and looking forward stopping in. My parents went there for 30 plus years and I’d go when in town.
Great take out seafood. Huge platters.
We came at least twice a week for the Manhattan clam chowder soup. It was so delicious I was addicted and we picked up Two quarts. One week it was hardly a potato cube in it but maybe a bunch of celery. Thought it was Just a bad time so still came back and took another chance. Well came back and skimpy broth. Whoever is making it now you lost two good customers. Bring your other chef back!!
The restaurant is a bit dingy there are no windows. I ordered Clams with white sauce over pasta. There was way too much sauce and very little pasta. The owner Steve came Over and waved his finger at me and said it was not too much sauce. He was extremely rude. So I paid for my beer and left. Steve the owner made it a point to say my last name out loud. It was anti-Semitic. I told him I was going to give him a poor record and he said he didn’t care it wasn’t the first time. I have never been treated this rudely in all my years at any restaurant. .
AMAZING seafood. I love the fried seafood combo & fried oysters! Your tartar sauce is the best I've ever had. I have no idea how you make it so creamy!!
Great seafood. Takeout is busy during Lent. The restaurant is out dated but dosnt change the quality of food. Eating in you can get a broiled seafood combo but not in takeout. Always has drink specials
This is one of the worse places we have ever eaten at...it has to be so bad for me to leave a review. We heard this place was great so we wanted to give a shot. The service was absolutely horrible...they were understaffed big time. We waited for at least 45 minutes for our food. Ordered a burger which was cold came out on a stroeman bun with no toppings and fries were extra. Other family members food was cold as well and some items under cooked. We had to constantly ask for everything as far as napkins...refills...utensils. It was the worse food for the price you paid. It took over 30 minutes to get the check...needless to say we will never go back. I would have rather had fast food.
The food is pretty good and the prices are pretty fair, but the customer service at the takeout portion of the restaurant definitely lacks. The guys behind the counter don't usually smile or act friendly, but instead usually look pretty aggravated or miserable. The environment inside the restaurant feels more like a bar than a restaurant, but the service I've gotten from the staff there have always been better.
Thank you Kopper KETTLE for the delicious fried chicken wings! I purchased some today for a covid 19 distancing birthday celebration. Everything loved the wings!!!
The crabcakes, combo platter and snapper soup were average. The chicken parm was dreadful and was inedible. Interestingly enough the place came pretty highly recommended by multiple people so we expected at least good food, unfortunately we did not receive that.
Wonderful place with a great full palette. Something for everyone here.
Dinner with friends, my first time eating here not overly impressed with food. Staff was friendly and courteous, we had a late meal about 2hrs before closing so food came out straight off the fire. Dinning area is a bit small so I would expect a wait if you go during peak hours, a bit overpriced for my liking considering the portions; but on the middle of good, sure there's places you can get better for the price in the area. Would return only for meeting with friends in the future, wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. I think the reputation from days gone by have boosted expectations and they may have been warranted back then; but I don't feel they are any longer. Sorry for not building this place up to what others may think; but all in all it wasn't very impressive to me.
